The growing tourism industry has a significant impact on perceptions about this industry. From time to time, how the socio-economic impacts of tourism are perceived for people living in tourism-developed regions is the subject of research. The inclusion of groups that are more homogeneous in their demographic characteristics, especially in the area they are in, paves the way for comparative research results to be more meaningful. It can be said that university students have such a homogeneous group structure. Quantitative research methods were used in the research. Survey was preferred as data collection tool. The data were obtained from Sakarya University and Durham University. According to the results, regional tourism perceptions of the two university students were found to vary.
