Tourism is the integration of actions that encompass multidimensional human/social activities. These integrated activities open up the development of various cultural sprawl and productions, in particular economic and social interactions and transformations. The multi-dimensional reflection and production of tourism activities are closely related to the tourism destination and the social harmony and peaceful environment in its immediate surroundings. The tourism potentials that the Samandağ region possesses are perceived as conflicts and battlefields due to the negativities stemming from the Syrian civil war and cause significant losses in tourism activities. As a result, various negative appear on tourism-related social, cultural and economic welfare both in the Samandağ region and throughout Turkey. The study was conducted using a descriptive survey model and interview technique.
