The level of financial literacy of the individual and family has been one of the important titles of the last century. Especially developed countries have started to realize and develop this situation a long time ago. In addition, as states have gradually left their citizens alone about their income in retirement, individuals have begun to realize taht they have incomplete information about monetary issues. The issues of savings is now on the individual’s agenda. Along with saving, issues such as how to utilize which investment tool have become very important. It is not possible for individuals to be confused in an environment where there are many complex options in the growing and globalizing financial systems. The answer to the solution of this problem they enconter is “Financial Literacy”.
It is useful to financial literate not only in saving issues but also in managing family budget. In recent years, after the economic crises that have showntheir effect worldwide, the poor population has increased gradually and the anti-poverty programs have become the primary policy of the countries. In the context of strengthening the family, efforts to increase the level of education and knowledge for women were initiated by Ministry of FWSS and financial literacy training was included in the training programs in development programs. The trainings were started to be carried out by Social Service Centers (SSC). This study was carried out to meansurethe financial literacy levels of SSC employees, who conduct the Family Education Program for families and women and provide financal literacy training, and to evaluate their situation.
