Linear Perspective, which was invented in Italy during the Renaissance, providing foundation for the art of painting is a geometrical construction. In the center of this geometrical construction a point of view which is reduced a single eye is located and according this appearance of space and all related objects are being reflected on a surface. Linear Perspective is not merely a realization techniques but is an important techniques of new art which has mathematical concept, and a sort of symbol for it. Artists who had great interest in nature and also wanted to represent it via their direct observations, this techniques provided a rational-mathematical basement for the configuration such a visual space. And meanwhile art was considered applied science in such a mathematical way of approaching and becaming an important ‘organ’ for artists in the interest of understanding and anylizing the world (space). In this respect Renaissance art can be considered as a flagger of the age of modern science in Europe.
During the Renaissance, artists in general, embraced naturalistic art conception which based on observation. However, with the concern of building this approach on solid foundations, mathematical approach in art started to come forward.
