Divine address is God Almighty’s making certain statements by communicating with all beings in general and with people in particular. The purpose of divine notifications is to establish a divine order and system in the universe and to provide the desired society. While the divine address finds its natural and cosmic execution in some creatures, the element that it addresses is the mind in beings with a will like human beings. For this reason, we can say that the divine address has a relationship with the mind. However, we can also state that the addresse of the revelation is not a mind substance but a intelligent person. Because the intellect is a divine blessing unique to man. However, the human being is not just a being made up of the blessing of intellect. It is explicit that Revelation addresses the world of spirit and intellect in all its details. Although it is possible for a human being to be influenced by external factors in terms of creation and emotionality, the intellect, which is the only phenomenon that distinguishes him from others, plays a fundamental role in being the addressee of revelation. The mind substance includes not only a faculty but also all of its basic principles such as “identity”, “contradiction” and “impossibility of the third state”. Thus, as a capability that separates positive and negative, true and false, beauty and ugliness in human behavior, it performs an important function in determining the criteria in all areas of life. It can be said that there is an absolute relationship between revelation and intellect. This article will focus on the relationship between divine address and intellect.

İlâhî hitap, Cenâb-ı Hakk’ın genel olarak bütün varlıklara, özelde de insanlarla iletişime geçmek suretiyle bazı bildirimlerde bulunmasıdır. İlâhî bildirimlerin amacı, evrende ilâhî bir düzen ve sistemin kurulması, istenilen sosyal toplum ortamının sağlanmasıdır. İlâhî hitap, bazı mahlûkatta fıtrî ve kozmik şekilde icrasını bulurken, beşer gibi iradesi olan varlıklarda da, muhatap aldığı unsur akıldır. Bu sebeple ilâhî hitabın akılla ilişkisinin olduğunu ifade edebiliriz. Ancak şunu da ifade edebiliriz ki, vahyin muhatabı, tek başına akıl cevheri değil, akıl sahibi insandır. Zira akıl, insana has ilâhî bir nimettir. Ne var ki, insan da yalnızca akıl nimetinden oluşan bir varlık değildir. Vahyin bütün ayrıntılarıyla, insanın ruh ve akıl dünyasının tümüne hitapta bulunduğu aşikârdır. İnsan, sosyal bir varlık olarak her ne kadar yaratılış ve duygusallık yönleri itibariyle zahiri faktörlerin etkisine girmesi mümkün olsa da, onu başkalarından ayırt ettiren biricik unsur olan akıl, vahye muhatap olmasında temel işlev görmektedir. Akıl nimeti, yalnızca bir meleke değil “özdeşlik”, “çelişmezlik” ve “üçüncü halin imkânsızlığı” gibi temel ilkelerinin hepsini içermektedir. Böylece insanın davranışlarında müspet ile menfiyi, hakikat ile batılı, güzellikle çirkinliği ayıran bir kuvve olarak hayatın tüm alanlarında ölçüleri belirlemede önemli bir fonksiyon icra eder. Vahiyle akıl arasında mutlak bir ilişkinin varlığından bahsedilebilir. Bu makalede ilâhî hitapla akıl ilişkisi üzerinde durulacaktır.
