From past to present, people have had to deal with a large number of epidemics. It is known that these epidemic diseases have serious devastating effects in every period. Today, a new virus that emerged in the last month of 2019 has affected the whole world. This virus started to spread among the continents in a short time, the World Health Organization named the disease caused by this virus as Covid-19 and then declared a pandemic. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the general ideas of prospective science teachers about Covid-19 during the Covid-19 pandemic process in our country and all over the world. In addition, according to them, what measures or measures the Covid-19 epidemic could be stopped, how long they think the Covid-19 epidemic will continue in our country, what changes they will make to the education systems of the epidemic. Within the scope of the study, semi-structured interviews were made with 53 prospective teachers. According to the results obtained, pre-service teachers should use general definitions such as a virus that can spread rapidly and easily for a virus that causes the epidemic, a virus that affects the whole world, necessary precautions should be taken and seriously obeyed, social distance should be maintained, it should not go out unless it is necessary. They stated that the measures may end at the end of the summer with the precautions, but there will be a decrease in social relationships and behaviors requiring contact after this epidemic, significant progress will be made in online education despite all the negativity, but despite all, it cannot meet face to face education.
