Türkiye’de ilk Covid-19 vak’ası Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Sağlık Bakanlığı verilerine göre 11 Mart 2020 tarihinde görülmüştür. Bu kapsamda Türkiye tedbir önceliğini halk sağlığı üzerinden yürütmüştür. İlk vak’anın görülmesine müteakiben Türkiye’deki salgını önleme aşamasında öncelikli olarak devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerinde üç hafta, ilk ve orta dereceli okullarda ise eğitim-öğretime bir hafta süreyle ara verilmesine, ilerleyen süreç içerisinde ise eğitim-öğretime uzaktan devam edilmesine yönelik karar alınmıştır. Söz konusu karar 16 Mart 2020 tarihinde yürürlüğe girmiş ve uygulanmaya başlanmıştır. İlgili tarihten itibaren eğitim-öğretim faaliyetleri üniversite senatolarında alınan kararlar çerçevesinde internet üzerinden senkron ve asenkron olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda uzaktan eğitim sistemi alt yapısına sahip olan Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi derslerinin senkron ve asenkron olarak yürütülmesine imkân sağlamıştır. Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi, Edebiyat Fakültesi ve Turizm Fakültelerinde seçmeli yabancı dil statüsündeki Rusça dersleri de bu kapsamda senkron olarak aksatılmadan gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi tarafından pandemi sürecinde yürütülen eğitim-öğretim faaliyetleri çerçevesinde, 2019-2020 (bahar dönemi) ve 2020-2021 (güz dönemi) eğitim-öğretim yıllarında asenkron/senkron yürütülen Rusça derslerinin verimliliğini, öğrencilerin bu süreçte karşılaştıkları zorlukları, öğrencilerin uzaktan Rusça öğretim sürecine adaptasyonunu ve başarısını ölçmek için anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı Rusça dersi alan öğrencilerin uzaktan öğretim sürecine adaptasyonunu ve başarısını etkileyen faktörleri ortaya çıkarmaktır. Ayrıca bireylerin kayıtlı oldukları bölüme ait genel derslerinin ve Rusça derslerinin demografik özelliklere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek araştırmanın bir diğer amacıdır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulguların analizi IBM SPSS (The Statistical Packet of Social Sciences) programı V22.0 sürümü ile yapılmıştır.

The first Covid-19 case in Turkey has seen on 11 March 2020 according to the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health data. In this context, Turkey has carried out the priority measures of public health. A decision was made to suspend education primarily at public and private universities for three weeks, and in primary and secondary schools for a week, and to continue education-training remotely in the future in the epidemic prevention period in Turkey. The aforementioned decision entered into force on 16 March 2020 and started to be implemented. Since the relevant date, educational activities have been carried out as synchronous and asynchronous over the internet within the framework of the decisions taken by the university senates. In this context, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, which has the infrastructure of a distance education system, made it possible to conduct courses synchronously and asynchronously. In this context, Russian language courses with the status of an optional foreign language at the Faculties of Humanities and Tourism of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University were asynchronously and synchronously conducted without interruption. In this study, within the framework of the educational activities carried out by Van Yüzüncü Yıl University during the pandemic process, a questionnaire was applied to measure the efficiency of the asynchronous / synchronous Russian lessons in the academic years of 2019-2020 (spring term) and 2020-2021 (fall term), the difficulties faced by the students in this process, their adaptation to the distance learning process of Russian language and their success in this process. The aim of the study is to reveal the factors affecting the adaptation and success of students who take Russian lessons to the distance education process. The purpose of the study is to identify the factors that affect the adaptation and academic performance of students taking the Russian language course in the process of distance learning. In addition, another goal of the study is to determine whether the general courses of the departments, in which students are enrolled, and the Russian language courses differ in demographic characteristics. The analysis of the findings obtained as a result of the research was performed with the IBM SPSS (The Statistical Packet of Social Sciences) program V22.0.
